General Description.—Original description of site and fossil sloth in Lull, 1929.
Comments.—Non-sloth material may be Holocene.
Age.—Dates on sloth dung (11,140 ± 200, Y-1163B) and hide (9,840 ± 160, Y-1163A) reported by Simons and Alexander (1964) and repeated in Long and Martin (1974) and in Long, Hansen, and Martin (1974). Y-1163A thought to be affected by preservatives (Long and Martin 1974).
