Age.—Latest Wisconsinan (Moodie and Van Devender 1978)

Environment.—Mesquite grassland (Moodie and Van Devender 1978).

Paleoenvironment.—Fossil pollen from the playa and adjacent spring mounds contains high percentages of arboreal species, especially pine, suggesting a pine forest or parkland (Moodie and Van Devender 1978, citing Hevly and Martin 1961 and Martin 1963).
