NM: Harding Co.
General Description.—7.6 mi N NM 39 (Lucas and Effinger (1991); SE1/4 NW1/4 Sec. 36, T16N, R32E (McMullen and Zakrzewski 1972).
Age.—Late Pleistocene. Molluscs with a closer resemblance to Illinoian local faunas of the High Plains than to Wisconsin faunas of the same vicinity.
Environment.—McMullen and Zakrzewski (1972): Cooler, more humid climate than is found in northeastern New Mexico today.
Comments.—McMullen and Zakrzewski (1972) also report 20 species of molluscs from the site.
