ID: JEROME CO. CA. 1311 M.

General Description.— Kurten and Anderson 1980: Lava blister on a broad basaltic ridge. Five strata recognized; lower three (lower and middle parts of C and strata D, E) are late Wisconsinan/early Holocene. Several artifacts in lowest level.

Age.—15,000 ± 800 (M-1410) from Stratum E, 14,500 ± 500 (M-1409) from Stratum C.

Comments.—Willig and Aikens (1988:7-8): "produced two early dates on bone from cultural deposits of flakes, bifaces and/or modified bone said to be associated with the remains of Pleistocene horse and camel..."
